Our annual Hasler race, known as Reading Circuit Race, is hosted from Reading Promenade (opposite our clubhouse). The race itself runs on our scenic stretch of the Thames, between Caversham and Mapledurham.
It’s open to all classes, with varying length of courses, depending on your level – from Geoff Sanders (2 miles) through to Division 1 (12 miles). In 2024, we welcomed SUPs within their own racing category.
In 2026 we’re running the race on Sunday 24th May (rescheduled from the 10th). The sun (we hope) will be shining, the flow will be low and we’ll have the BBQ out, snacks and refreshments available for all (including vegetarian and gluten free options).
Above all, there will be some exciting racing to watch, along with those dashing portages.
